To the Future... & Beyond

The FUTURE is unpredictable... there are endless possibilites of what lies ahead. Will the Earth be a wasteland, as portrayed in the movie Wall-E? Will the people of the Earth have created and expanded technology so far that "machines" would take over? No one really knows for sure. We all hope for the best, yet secretly the general public is afraid of change... the unknown, the idea of unpredictability. We can only use our imagination to vividly portray a futuristic sense of the idea.

I see GREEN infused with technology. This idea could be shown in a positive or negative light. No one can deny that technology has vastly expanded and improved over time. Some creations are good, some possibly harmful to the environment.

Project IDEAS:
For the upcoming "FUTURE" project in Computer Art class, I have the idea of infusing technological images into a natural green scene. Tree trunks will be influenced and dressed with wire... leaves could be made out of computer chips, flowers made out of iPods and other gadgets... Of course this is just the only idea I have at this time... it can very well change over the course of this project. I am open to the idea of Earth being fertile in technology, yet maybe sparse in natural elements. I am hoping to have my piece represent the 4 seasons or the 4 elements in some way...
