Art + Film = LOVE

I have a passion for many different forms of ART... Within the last couple years this passion has extended to the form of filmmaking. From the creative process of pre-production to the journey of production to the intense work of post-production... I love it all. I worked on two students films last year as a Production Designer/Concept artist/Set dresser. I found excitement in being on "set". I instantly fell in love with the process and creative flow in which all of the cast and crew members worked together. I am hoping to minor in Film & Electronic Arts... I cannot wait to learn all that 'film' ART has to offer.

Starting with POP ART

I am fascinated with POP art... from its bright colors and comic theme to analyzation of the meaning behind its sometimes simple art. This art piece, Kiss V, by Roy Lichtenstein is one of my favorites. As of right now, I would say that Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol are my top artists. However, over the course of this ART blog I would like to explore other artists and find new "favorites" not only within the POP art genre. I would like to open my mind and discover a new way of appreciating other artists' creative expressions. I love to analyze all forms of ART! :)
