Film Festival Poster

Here is a poster that I designed for a Film Festival coming up soon at CSULB. Not one of my favorites that I have designed, but it gets the point across.

FINAL... Rebel RE-label

Here is my final for the REBEL Re-label Project. I decided to turn the product, Germ-X, into Swine-X. Hand Sanitizer is used very often now because of the hype about Swine Flu. Guess what?... I actually had swine flu last year. I was the first confirmed case in LA county and the first at CSULB... So my Swine-X product is very relevant to me. :)

REBEL Re-label

Here are a few of my first ideas for the REBEL Re-label project. More ideas with more progress will be coming soon. This is not an easy assignment. It takes a long time to come up with an effective idea. We'll see what happens with my imagination within the next few days. Hopefully I can come up with something good...

Taliesin West AZ

I went on a road trip to Arizona during Spring Break. One of the many different places that I encountered in Arizona was Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West. I went on a tour, where I was able to learn a little bit about Mr. Wright's life and this home that he built in Scottsdale. I was amazed about the amount of thought and detail that went into creating such an interesting home and later Architecture School. Mr. Wright incorporated the land and its natural form into the style and placement of Taliesin West. It is a beautiful place to visit. You should definitely check it out the next time you are in Scottsdale, Arizona.

FINAL!

Here is my final product for my "Watermelon Gun" and assorted weapons... I couldn't decide which green color scheme worked best. For the first picture, I chose brighter greens that I thought would work. For the second picture I actually took the greens (and pink) from an actual picture of a watermelon. I also filled in the "bullet holes" on the first picture. Although the difference is very subtle, which colors do you like best? :)

Watermelon Gun

Here are some of my sketches for the thought process behind creating a "watermelon gun". I referenced a few guns, including some super soakers. I also decided to carry this idea further and create a watermelon bomb, grenade and even 'bullet' hole. Final coming soon...

Alice ART

I saw Alice in Wonderland 3D yesterday. Aside from a basic, predictable plot, I truly enjoyed the ART in this film. As a whole, I thought the film was "good", not "great" as I had anticipated. Yet, I am intrigued by Tim Burton's unique style. From the elaborate costumes to creative set design, I was in awe of how much detail went into every aspect of this film. Johnny Depp as the MadHatter was most definitely my favorite character. He brings something unique and quirky to his character, along with that human aspect... Cannot wait to see what Tim Burton and Johnny Depp create next. :)
